- 50th Aniversary; Last August newsletter correction: Kat Teasdale story...
Last August newsletter, I wrote an account of a story that had been given to me about Kat Teasdale.  I erred in reporting that Kat was driving a F2000, it actually was a Players Challenge Camaro. Thanks to Mark Wafer. Here is the real account of that weekend in Mark’s words.

- Marcelli Victorious at Road America
Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin (August 4th 2008) Barrie native, Kyle Marcelli continues to impress on the international level as he leaves the famous Road America course emerging victorious in round nine and again becoming the only driver to be on the podium both days in the competitive US F2000 Championship Series. Â Marcelli arrived at the track Wednesday for set-up and was able to get his first impressions of the fast course. Thursday morning was a four hour open test session. Marcelli quickly adapted to the 4.5 mile track, which allowed the team to tackle the cars balance right away.

- Congratulations to Ron Fellows!
After finally calling the red flag due to the total lack of ability to see for the drivers, BARC member Ron Fellows took victory at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal tonight.
Ron took it all in stride behind the safety car in the last caution seen mopping the windshield and taking a drink, you'd almost think he was on the 401.
Fulfilling a dream of winning at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, Gilles being his hero, Ron was all smiles and full of emotion as he exited the car (in a nice dry building) and took his trophy.
Congrats also go out to Canadian driver and another favourite of BARC, Patrick Carpentier who was second. A Canadian one-two in Canada!
A wonderful weekend for BARC drivers in Montreal. Congrats to all of you!Â
- Congratulations to AIM!
After attempts all season long and plagued by incidents keeping victory away from them, in a last-corner move by Mark Wilkins, AIM took vitory today in Montreal in the Rolex DP Class race!
The top runners ran out of fuel throughout the last lap. The Brumos Porsche with only meters to spare, but Mark went wide and took the flag just ahead of the Crown Royal car. Joey Hand in the #23 had switched to reserve early and ran out of that too on the fateful lap.
Congrats to the whole team go out from all of us at BARC! Your first victory and on Canadian soil, does it get any better?
Great job guys!!!
- ANOTHER PODIUM FOR MARCELLI!
Lexington, Ohio (July 14th 2008) – Kyle Marcelli continues to impress across the border in the very competitive F2000 Championship Series as they just wrapped up another weekend this time making its way to the tight and technical Mid-Ohio sports car course. Marcelli hit the track for the first time Thursday evening. The series had a designated two and a half hours of open track time.
